Laton Ventures launches $35M global gaming venture capital fund.

Laton Ventures, a new gaming-focused VC fund based in Turkey, has launched with $35 million to invest in pre-seed and seed-stage gaming startups globally. Despite the current challenges in the gaming industry, Laton Ventures sees opportunities and aims to bridge the Turkish and global gaming ecosystems.

The fund emphasizes operational support for its portfolio companies, leveraging its team’s experience and industry-veteran advisors. Görkem Türk, founding partner, stated, “We’re going to be quite agnostic toward the content category…We will also be investing in non-content as well, like infrastructure and tech around gaming.” Laton Ventures has already made five investments and secured backing from prominent industry figures and institutions, including Supercell and İşBank’s venture capital arm.
